Product Description
The Roku Japanese Craft Gin is made in Japan from six native botanicals that give the gin a typical Far Eastern touch. Roku is synonymous with the number six and stands for the ingredients cherry blossoms, gyokuro tea, Sencha green tea, Japanese sansho pepper and a fresh citrus note from the shell of Yuzu fruit. In conjunction with the notes of juniper, coriander seed and angelica root. The used Botanicals are harvested according to a certain principle, in which only the optimal maturity and the right season, pot stills these are then distilled individually.
Crystal clear in colour. The bouquet shows cherry blossom and green tea provide a sweet and floral aroma. The palate is complex, multi-layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with Yuzu as the top note. Smooth & silky texture. The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.
