Product of a fanatical research into fruit tannins, Cirsion is born with wine-like ripe, long tannins, needing relatively little softening. It is a marvelous-great velvet-&-violet juice cut with perfect tannins; with nerve from ripe acid, earthily spiced, dry and lingering finish.

Why do we love it so much? The blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and a splash of Viognier. The combination works, producing a powerful wine with good fruit and some spice tempered by flavours of dark chocolate. We give them full marks for the name and the presentation too! Give it a try.

Details
Without wanting to overplay things, we reckon this is our best Pinot yet. The fruit is truly ripe and full and the predominant flavour is cherry, which reflects the wine's lovely vivid cherry colour. We also get blackberry notes and some lovely sweet smoky oak. Mouth feel is initially soft and luscious, held up nicely by the supple tannins for a savoury lingering finish.
