Green Spot is a non age statement Pot Still Irish whiskey and is comprised of Pot Still whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years. For their 18-year-old whiskey, Jameson mingles pot still and grain whiskies, ages the blend in Sherry cask then finishes it in first-fill bourbon barrels. The mellow result shows aromas of spice, toffee and apricot followed by flavours of fudge and Sherry nuttiness. A lasting finish, pair with toffee apple cake.
-
Jameson Crested is a triple-distilled Irish blended whiskey containing a high percentage of rich pot still Irish whiskey, I believe around 60% and the remaining 40% of the whiskey is made up of Irish grain whiskey. The whiskey has been matured in a high proportion of sherry casks, as well as bourbon barrels.

Bold, influenced by pot still whiskey, is an intense and robust whiskey, with a strong hit of spices. Initially sweet and creamy, with an abundance of soft fruits, the Pot Still Spices develop to bring a perfect balance of rich barley notes and mellow baked apple.
-
Round, influenced by the wood contribution, is a balance of rich and plump charred tones. A perfect harmony of diverse flavours, sweet vanilla fuses with soft ripe fruit and, together, combines with the rich Pot Still Spices on a firm foundation of toasted oak.

Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 12 Cask Strength displays the characteristic full and complex flavour of pot still whiskey.
-
One of the most decorated Irish whiskeys, Redbreast is the largest selling Single Pot Still Irish whiskey in the world and is regarded as the definitive expression of traditional Pot Still whiskey. Full of aroma and flavour, Redbreast 12 Year Old benefits from a strong contribution from distillates which have matured in Oloroso sherry casks, giving it its trademark Christmas cake character.
-
Now a permanent expression in the family having originally launched as a limited edition, Redbreast 15 Year Old is matured in a combination of Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and American Bourbon whiskey barrels. Redbreast 15 Year Old is non chill filtered.

Redbreast 21 year old completes a hat trick for Irish Distillers, but this is by far and away the best Irish release of the year. It’s an immense whiskey: oily, spicy, rich, gloopy, and with red berries, menthol, and citrus abundant. It’s complex, too, but you don’t have to live with it long to realize what a gem it is. And very well judged: the oak and spice suggest that these first fill bourbon and sherry casks had reached the edge of a cliff.

A whiskey that celebrates the craft of our Head Distiller, Brian Nation, and his mastery of the Irish Pot Still. The spirit safe is an instrument allowing him to sample what’s going on inside the still, a confirmation of quality at every turn. Delivering a smooth palate and gentle notes of apricot, cinnamon and melon, The Distiller’s Safe pays respect to the character of the distillate. Long before barrels make their mark, a pot still has the first say.
-
Like the man himself, this is altogether more considered and elegant, mixing whiskeys up to 25 years old for a complex experience. Instead, lemon and lime zest, kumquat, and blood orange entwine themselves around vanilla, nutmeg, and soft, drying tannins. No big knockout punches, but it goes the distance and wins unanimously and easily on points.

It’s an outstanding example of Irish, rich and mouth-filling, with a warming, luscious body. The nose is slightly hot, offering hints of honey and cinnamon. The body, however, is far more sophisticated and complex, and not really hot at all. Deep honey notes, vanilla, caramels, and touches of barley. Slightly nutty on the finish, with hints of charcoal and chocolate, too. This is a whiskey that offers tremendous depth, not something you typically associate with Irish, which is often made in a simpler style.

Yellow Spot is a 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Rather than being simply a ‘finished’ whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types.
