Product Description
Inspiration for KAH tequila comes from the 3,000 year old celebration know as “Dia de los Muertos”, the Day of the Dead. The unique packaging is inspired by the traditional calaveras (skulls) used in the Day of the Dead rituals to symbolize death and rebirth. Every bottle is an individual, hand crafted work of art – no two bottles are alike. While the bottle captures that enduring spirits, so does the Tequila inside, as KAH’s distillers transform hand-selected 100% Blue agave.
Spends two years in American oak. Big caramel and vanilla notes on the nose, typical of a well-aged, quality anejo. The body sticks close to the formula, keeping the sweetness heavy and layering on a bit of milk chocolate as the finish starts to roll over you. Agave is largely absent here… only a residual slug of herbs on the nose proves that you’re not drinking rum. Still, all in all it’s a solid dessert-like experience.
