A lot of oyster shell – salty with a lemon squeezed onto it, came off the bouquet. The palate was very dry, zinging citrus and so well balanced. There was grapefruit galore, despite it being very dry on the finish.
-
The bouquet brings to mind white peach and candied lemon but also more floral notes such as peony. The palate shows a mineral Champagne, lightly biscuity, creamy, supple, seductive on a vibrant finish.

For lovers of pure sensations we have created a 100% Pinot Noir cuvée with no dosage. It contains only the wine’s natural residual sugar. The palate is pure with abundant finesse and freshness on the finish.

Here everything is purity. In the culmination of a process which over the years has led us to reduce the quantity of sulphites in our Champagnes, no sulphur is added to this cuvée during the different stages of vinification, allowing the Pinot Noir to express itself in perfect freedom. This cuvée evokes lovely apples and Williams pear, with a hint of citrus fruits.

To the forgotten Champagne grape varieties: Arbane, Petit Meslier and Blanc Vrai, which express themselves, the classic Chardonnay brings its elegant and persistent note. The cuvée displays aromas of very fresh grapes, citrus fruit, white flowers or honeyed apples. The Quattuor cuvée, from the number four in Latin is a fine Champagne, mineral and chiselled.
-
Vibrant and beautifully sculpted, the vintage is so impressive right out of the gate. The bouquet brings aromas of lemon peel, dried herbs, flowers, mint and sage all develop over time. Translucent and so expressive, this is a real knock-out.
-
A fragrance of fresh apricots and red plums, talcum and apricot croissants. This is sensationally good champagne from the clay and limestone soils that top the belemnita quadrata chalk of their vineyards around the villages of Hautvillers, Dizy and Mareuil-surAÿ. Orchards of fruit, crackling chalky minerality, and ethereal floral top notes –and yet plush! Champagne par excellence!
-
The Brut Special Club bursts from the glass with terrific energy and sheer class. It captures all of the potential of a year that was especially favorable to Chardonnay. There is plenty of nuance and detail in the glass. It shows off tons of personality and sheer class. Mint, sage and eucalyptus are some of the notes that wrap around the finish. This is first-class all the way.
-
Fresh and lively, with a hint of bread dough mixed with candied berry, quince paste, lemon zest, wax and fleur de sel. Fine-grained, with a lip-smacking, juicy finish.
-
Clear gold in colour, with delicate floral aromas of lilac and violets on the bouquet and notes of green apple, fresh pineapple and lemon on the palate. It’s a subtle wine with a direct and lively attack, great finesse and good length.
-
As Blanc de Blanc styles go, this is pretty good value for what is seen as the pinnacle of Champagne styles. This is a crisper, drier number compared to the richer styles of other Gosset fizzes, and shows lots of vibrant apples, citrus, white peach and white florals on the bouquet. Meanwhile, the palate is quite tight and zippy, with citrus and stone fruit flavours, a bit of cream and chalkiness to the texture, fine bubbles, and a taut, terrific finish.

A medium-bodied Champagne with the smoky, toasted flavours repeated on the palate, along with citrus and tangy orchard fruit tones. This has weight and heft but is also quite brisk, with a refreshingly bitter citrus bite on the finish.

It is magical. It smells and tastes as if the time on lees were 50% more or even twice that of the Reserve. The palate is so rich (yet not at all fruity) that it is impossible to recognise that the virtually nil dosage (2 g/L) is invisible. This is Blanc de Blancs is quality rarely encountered. Anybody with the slightest interest in quality Methode Champenoise, and particularly in the Blanc de Blancs style, needs to taste this wine. You will not be disappointed. This wine is sensational!
