Ignis Pinot Noir hails from a northern slope in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The vineyard is cluttered with round pebbles on the soil surface with underlying decomposed Granite. Latin for fire, Ignis makes reference to the igneous rock, Granite.
