One of the rare Houses producing Rosé by the Saignée method. Several days of maceration give this cuvée an intense colour marked by the Pinot Noir. The bouquet shows hints of red fruits and violet with a lightly spiced note. Receiving only a light dosage, the palate is remarkably expressive and extremely fresh, with a subtle trace of liquorice on the finish.

The Grande Sendrée Cuvée takes its name from a parcel of land covered by cinders after the fire which ravaged Urville in 1838. A spelling error having slipped through in a new version of the land register, it is with an “s” that this cuvée is designated today.

A constant, slender, stream of thousands of tiny bubbles. On the bouquet it delivers not only notes of raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and vanilla, but also nuances of lilac and violet, which confer delicacy and freshness. This freshness is also found on the palate; with those prevailing aromas of red fruits there is a hint of pink grapefruit on the finish.

An intense bouquet of freshly made strawberry jam and mingle with cinnamon, cardamom, honey and pink praline. On the palate it is layered and complex with notes of liquorice, blackberry tea, cherries, pink peppercorns and fresh figs. The finish is long and sophisticated.
