It involves two grapes – Frontenac Gris and La Crescent – making this a baby orange wine. The blend comprises of Chenin Blanc, Verdelho and a smidgen of Viognier. Matured in old oak barrels of various sizes for 11 months. Some struck match character before pear, peach, citrus and apple plus some toasty characters. Rich and very flavourful on the palate with just the right amount of texture, a great line of vibrant acidity lending drive on the finish.
