Product Description
The Seignette Cognac VS comes from the French region of Segonaz from the ‘Maison Seignette’, which was founded by Azerac Seignette in 1804 and today belongs to the well-known Sazerac Company (Buffalo Trace!). Before the Seignette family became big and famous with Cognac, they were active in salt production on the French southwest coast near La Rochelle. The basis for this Cognac is the picturesque Domaine Sazerac de Segonzac, set in 300 hectares of historic organic vineyards in the heart of the Cognac region.
Pale gold with coppery highlights. The bouquet brings aromas of dried apricot and vanilla with hints of honeysuckle. The palate is rounded with oaky vanilla notes, without bitterness. A hint of citrus (orange peel) with balanced elements all in harmony. The richness and depth show in persistent creamy finish.
