Product Description
Inspiration for KAH tequila comes from the 3,000 year old celebration know as “Dia de los Muertos”, the Day of the Dead. The unique packaging is inspired by the traditional calaveras (skulls) used in the Day of the Dead rituals to symbolize death and rebirth. Every bottle is an individual, hand crafted work of art – no two bottles are alike. While the bottle captures that enduring spirits, so does the Tequila inside, as KAH’s distillers transform hand-selected 100% Blue agave.
Aged 10 months in French oak. Surprisingly divergent from the blanco. Initially hot, the nose is a bit distant and obscured by alcohol, of which there is plenty in this oddball repo. The body is a strange symphony of flavors, beginning with hard candy and toffee notes, then taking you into various notes of nougat, red wine, whisky barrel, and sharp agave herbaciousness at the end. Almost the opposite of the blanco’s creaminess.
