Product Description
We do things a little differently around here – and that’s what gives Jack Daniel’s its distinctive character. We Charcoal Mellow our whiskey drop by drop, then let it age in our own handcrafted barrels. And we don’t follow a calendar. Our Tennessee Sippin’ Whiskey is ready only when our tasters say it is. We use our senses, just like Jack Daniel himself did. In fact, more than a century later, our Tennessee Whiskey is still judged the same way. By the way it looks. By the way it smells. And of course, by the way it tastes.
Dense, balanced with bold aromas. Initially spice forward (cinnamon and nutmeg) with a nice dry oak influence. As it opens, sweeter notes of banana bread, warm creamy vanilla, brown sugar, and walnut develop. The palate showcases some entry heat fades to a low burn packed with flavor. Toasted oak, banana bread, nutmeg, crème brule, and wood spice. Bold and dark, there is a nice syrupy quality to the dram that gives it an excellent mouthfeel. Toasted grain, drying oak and wood spice. A late blossom of apple skins appears as it fades on a long finish.
