From the idea in 2004, it took us until April fool’s day 2008 to harvest the first of our potatoes, making the first batch of vodka in June 2008. Upon tasting the very first drop from the column before filtering, I was so enamored and proud of it, I decided to call it Chase Vodka. And so Chase Distillery was born. Grown and distilled and bottled in Herefordshire, England. We infuse juniper buds and berries to ensure that we distil the driest gin possible, followed by 10 fine botanicals including; cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, almond, coriander, cardamom, cloves, liquorice and lemon. On the nose; dry juniper with zesty citrus with some warm, spicy notes. Juniper, dark chocolate and citrus zest upfront on the palate, followed by notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Chase Williams Rhubarb & Bramley Apple Gin is a spectacular crafted by blending GB gin with freshly pressed rhubarb & Bramley apple juice souced at the farm. The bouquet opens up with a distinctive rhubarb and apple crumble with a hint of cinnamon, which on the palate is well complemented by a tangly apple combined with notes of juniper. The finish is a fresh rhubarb tart and a warming cinnamon.
