The Irish have been distilling their fine whiskey for well over 1000 years, but before there was Irish whiskey there was Poitin. Poitin is a clear non-aged Irish spirit famous for its quality and its high alcohol strength, consequently being outlawed in 1661 driving the whole industry underground until now. In an effort to revive the original spirit of Ireland, Teeling has crafted a modern, high quality bottling of Poitin.
